About the HMHS Color Guard

The Color Guard is an essential part of the marching band, bringing visual impact and energy to each performance through choreographed movement, dance, and equipment work (including flags, rifles, and sabres). Combining athleticism and artistry, the Color Guard enhances the music with storytelling and emotion on the field. Open to students of all experience levels, the team promotes teamwork, dedication, and creativity—and plays a vital role in creating a powerful and engaging show.
