Guidelines
Attendance
Unexcused absences from rehearsal will result in disqualification from performances.
Accumulating three missed performances will trigger a meeting with directors and could lead to removal from the show.
Please schedule personal appointments outside of rehearsal and performance times whenever possible.
Uniform Guidelines
Treat your uniform with respect — hang it up properly after every use.
Uniforms must be returned at the end of each performance day.
Keep gloves clean and shoes polished at all times for a professional appearance.
Instrument Care
You are responsible for your instrument’s care, whether school- or privately owned.
Never leave it unattended; keep it in working condition.
Periodic checks will be done; secure a loaner if repairs are needed.
School insurance does not cover personal instruments — consider private coverage.
School instruments must be signed out and approved before leaving campus.
Repair costs beyond normal wear are the student’s responsibility.
Transportation
Arrive at least 15 minutes early to all scheduled events.
Arrange for prompt pickup (within 15 minutes) after returning from events.
All students are required to ride the bus to and from away events, unless prior authorization is granted by the director.
Rehearsal Attire
Wear appropriate athletic footwear (cross-trainers or similar).
Be prepared for all weather conditions — rain, heat, or cold.
Always keep a jacket or extra layer in your band bag just in case.
Parents & Guardians
Your support means the world to our students — please attend competitions and performances whenever possible.
The Band Booster Club plays a vital role in our success — we welcome and need your involvement!
