STEP 1
Band Boosters Requirements
To participate in the 2025 HMHS Marching Band and Color Guard, parents/guardians must complete all of the following by August 1, 2025:
REGISTER
Complete the HMHS Marching Band and Color Guard Registration using the Google Form (link below).
PAY BAND DUES
Submit your $550 Band Boosters dues

Check: Payable to HMHS Band Boosters, mailed to:

What’s Included:
Show music, drill, props, band camp expenses, instructors and staff, uniforms and equipment, transportation, and truck rentals.
Additional Costs (not included in dues). Use the Google Form to enter shoe size, glove size (band only), and request extra t-shirts. Color Guard fees and gear (e.g., shoes and gloves) are handled separately.
Band Shoes: $45
Band Gloves: $6
Extra T-Shirts: $22 (Students’ first band t-shirt is included in dues

STEP 2
HMHS Activity Fee & Requirement
Marching Band/Color Guard is a varsity sport, therefore, sports registration, a physical and activity fee are required.

For HMHS Fall Sports in Genesis
PAY
Activity Fee (on My School Bucks) This is different than Band Dues
SUBMIT
A current physical is required to participate in Marching Band. Please submit the last page of the completed form to the school nurse by August 1, 2025 (no later than August 11). This page must be dropped off or mailed to the high school or middle school, depending on your student’s grade.
NOTE: The following MAY also be needed:
☐ COVID Clearance ☐ Asthma Action Plan ☐ Antihistamine/Epinephrine ☐ Concussion Impact testing (STUDENTS-not parents/guardians must complete the online Impact Concussion Test every other year.
STEP 3
Join the Band App
We use the BAND App as our primary communication tool for announcements, schedule changes, forms, reminders, and media.
All students and parents/guardians should join!

FOR STUDENTS WHO NEED A NEW PHYSICAL IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE UPCOMING SEASON: An original copy of the LAST PAGE of the form must be dropped off or mailed to the high school or middle schoo (depending on the grade of the student) Please do not email the form. (The Preparticipation Physical Evaluation Form should be maintained by the healthcare provider completing the physical exam. Although not required, you may ask your physician for a copy to be kept in the health office at the school.
The medical eligibility form (last page) is the ONLY form that MUST be submitted to the school.
